Deuteronomy 1:25 KJV(i)25 And they took of the fruit of the land in their hands, and brought it down unto us, and brought us word again, and said, It is a good land which the LORD our God doth give us. ISV(i)25 They hand-picked some of the fruit of the land, brought it down to us, and gave a report that said, 'The land which the LORD is about to give us is good.'" My thoughts. The Lord will bless when we put trust in Him. |

Deuteronomy 1:40 KJV(i) 40 But as for you, turn you, and take your journey into the wilderness by the way of the Red sea. ISV(i) 40 But as for you, prepare to set out for the desert on the way to the Reed Sea.' These are my thoughts. When we choose to not follow what God has for us, we go back to the sin we once lived in. |

Deuteronomy 1:41 KJV(i) 41 Then ye answered and said unto me, We have sinned against the LORD, we will go up and fight, according to all that the LORD our God commanded us. And when ye had girded on every man his weapons of war, ye were ready to go up into the hill. ISV(i) 41 "You responded to me and said, 'We have sinned against the LORD. We will now go up and fight according to what the LORD our God commanded.' So each man put on his weapon for battle and recklessly started out for the hill country." These are my thoughts. When we repent we still need to be prepared to face the results of the sins we turned from. |

Deuteronomy 1:42 KJV(i) 42 And the LORD said unto me, Say unto them. Go not up, neither fight; for I am not among you; lest ye be smitten before your enemies. ISV(i) 42 "Then the LORD told me: 'Tell them not to go up and fight because I will not be in their midst, or else you will be defeated before your enemies.' These are my thoughts. When we go without the Lord we will face defeat. |

Deuteronomy 1:43 KJV(i) 43 So I spake unto you; and ye would not hear, but rebelled against the commandment of the LORD, and went presumptuously up into the hill. ISV(i) 43 "I spoke to you but you didn't listen. Instead you rebelled against the command of the LORD and went up to the hill country. These are my thoughts. We need to submit to Him but accept the results of when we did not. |

Deuteronomy 1:44 KJV 44 And the Amorites, which dwelt in that mountain, came out against you, and chased you, as bees do, and destroyed you in Seir, even unto Hormah. Deuteronomy 1:44 ISV 44 The Amorites who lived in the hill country came out to engage you in battle. They pursued you like bees do and crushed you from Seir to Hormah. These are my thoughts. We need to remember our defeats so we can grow by Him from them. |

Deuteronomy 1:45 KJV 45 And ye returned and wept before the LORD; but the LORD would not hearken to your voice, nor give ear unto you. ISV 45 You returned and cried out before the LORD, but the LORD didn't hear your voice or listen to you. These are my thoughts. The Lord wants us to submit to Him before we ask Him things and before He listens to our needs because we first need Him before anything else. |

Deuteronomy 1:46 KJV 46 So ye abode in Kadesh many days, according unto the days that ye abode there. ISV 46 You remained in Kadesh for many days. It was a long time, indeed." These are my thoughts. Sometimes our journey with the Lord will keep us in the same place for a time. |

Deuteronomy 2:21 KJV 21 A people great, and many, and tall, as the Anakims; but the LORD destroyed them before them; and they succeeded them, and dwelt in their stead: CAB 21 A great nation and populous, and mightier than you, as also the Anakim; yet the Lord destroyed them from before them, and they inherited their land, and they dwelt there instead of them until this day. These are my thoughts. The Lord can bring thru even the toughest of situation if we trust in Him. |

Deuteronomy 2:22 KJV 22 As he did to the children of Esau, which dwelt in Seir, when he destroyed the Horims from before them; and they succeeded them, and dwelt in their stead even unto this day: CAB 22 As they did to the children of Esau that dwell in Seir, even as they destroyed the Horite from before them, and inherited their country, and dwelt therein instead of them until this day. These are my thoughts. Sometimes we need to be willing to break down man made borders to work together for the Lord’s work. |

Deuteronomy 2:23 KJV 23 And the Avims which dwelt in Hazerim, even unto Azzah, the Caphtorims, which came forth out of Caphtor, destroyed them, and dwelt in their stead.) CAB 23 And the Avim who dwell in Asedoth to Gaza, and the Cappadocians who came out of Cappadocia, destroyed them, and dwelt in their place. These are my thoughts. The Lord has a place we are to dwell but it is not here on earth. |

Deuteronomy 2:24 KJV 24 Rise ye up, take your journey, and pass over the river Arnon: behold, I have given into thine hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land: begin to possess it, and contend with him in battle. CAB 24 Now then arise and depart, and pass over the valley of Ar; behold, I have delivered into your hands Sihon the king of Heshbon the Amorite, and his land. Begin to inherit it; engage in war with him this day. These are my thoughts. The Lord has given us things and some times it requires us to fight a battle but as Christians this battle often times is a spiritual battle. |

Deuteronomy 2:25 KJV 25 This day will I begin to put the dread of thee and the fear of thee upon the nations that are under the whole heaven, who shall hear report of thee, and shall tremble, and be in anguish because of thee. CAB 25 Begin to put your terror and your fear on the face of all the nations under heaven, who shall be troubled when they have heard your name, and shall be in anguish before you. These are my thoughts. The men feared them because they served the Almighty, we should do our best to represent Him as Christians. |

Deuteronomy 2:26 KJV 26 And I sent messengers out of the wilderness of Kedemoth unto Sihon king of Heshbon with words of peace, saying, CAB 26 And I sent ambassadors from the wilderness of Kedemoth to Sihon king of Heshbon with peaceable words, saying, These are my thoughts. We are the Lord’s ambassadors and bring the people the gospel of peace. |

Deuteronomy 2:27 KJV 27 Let me pass through thy land: I will go along by the high way, I will neither turn unto the right hand nor to the left. CAB 27 I will pass through your land; I will go by the road, I will not turn aside to the right hand or to the left. These are my thoughts. The Lord will never waver. |

Deuteronomy 2:28 KJV 28 Thou shalt sell me meat for money, that I may eat; and give me water for money, that I may drink: only I will pass through on my feet; CAB 28 You shall give me food for money, and I will eat; and you shall give me water for money, and I will drink; I will only go through on my feet: These are my thoughts. Most things in this life cost us something, the gift of Christ is free to us because He paid the price. |
