SACRAMENTO, Calif. (BP) -- A bill that would allow boys who say they identify as girls to use the girls' restrooms and locker rooms, and vice versa, passed the California Assembly Thursday (May 9) and now heads to the state Senate. AB 1266, which passed largely on a party-line vote of 45-24, has been touted by supporters as "eliminating obstacles facing transgender people," but opponents have warned it "mandates San Francisco values on all California schools." Under the bill, a student will be "permitted to participate in sex-segregated school programs, activities, and facilities, including athletic teams and competitions," consistent with "his or her gender identity, irrespective of the gender listed on the pupil's records." http://www.bpnews.net/bpnews.asp?id=40280&ref=BPNews-RSSFeed0510&utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+delicious%2Fgqlf+%28Christian+Headlines+Top+Headlines%29 :censored |

Why don't parents start their own schools, like homeschool co-op and take their kids out of those godless, brainwashing, centers? |

Actually, California's tectonic movement is eastward, not westward. That's why we have the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Nevertheless, as a California taxpayer, I am appalled to see this State government so pander after the GLB agenda. How senseless can those [pejoratives deleted] be? Exactly what is now to protect young female students from being exposed to the genitalia of their gender confused male counterparts? Don't female students have the right to be safe too? I simply don't believe children develop gender confusion without the input of gender confused adults. Still, there is a vibrant if abused Christian Testimony in California and many (if not droves) are being saved here. Thus as a teacher among a few believers, I am inclined to stay and teach the full council of God even if that implies crying foul including against the folly of so many apparent valueless public officials. If ain't politics. It's morality. ...For what have I [to do] with judging those outside also? 1Co.5:12 (JND) συζυγος της εικονομαχίας comrade of the iconoclasts |

confusion is the key word here. In order to make homosexuality "normal" in society you have to "get them while their young", you HAVE to get them in a captive environment (school) and then begin to undo parental teachings, undo the church's teachings, undo the bible's teachings and confuse the daylights out of children and keep them confused and feeling guilty for questioning the lifestyle. Or that's the way it seems to me. You can't get away with that with someone who has a good moral foundation. |

I would make the same suggestion; "girls", "boys" and "its" rooms. But I judged it would lend substance to the LGB claim that their proclivity had a basis in biology rather than moral sin. Instead, I must not give them an inch and call sin, sin wherever it manifests in this fallen down backward society. Surely we are called to clearheadedness and sobriety in the face of the worldly onslaught against truth. συζυγος της εικονομαχίας comrade of the iconoclasts |

Even if a third restroom option was introduced for these people, it would only be a matter of time before we started seeing lawsuits on the basis of segregation and discrimination. Edited by M. Hawbaker, May 12, 2013, 4:27 pm.

My husband, on occasion, needed help in the bathroom. I'm female. He's male. With traditional bathrooms EVERYONE freaked out. I couldn't take him in the men's room. Couldn't take him in the women's. Well, I did take him in the women's. Had a lot of drama. Asked a male security guard if HE would help Ron in the bathroom. He freaked out and "let" us use the empty women's room. Anyway, now most places have a family bathroom. It has one toilet, one sink. It's large enough for a couple of kids and a stroller, or a large wheelchair. I can take him in there (generally we use it so I can check and ensure it's clean). If he needed help, I could go in there. I don't see why they couldn't do this for these kids. |

Our high school has 3 bathrooms on the floor we mostly go to. The boys bathroom, girls bathroom and a 3rd- It has a single toilet and the door locks. That means you don't have a bunch of people in there all at the same time. I like that idea better. Also read this morning State ordering girls' locker rooms open to boys (and yeah you can probably figure out WHICH state it is) http://www.wnd.com/2013/05/state-ordering-girls-locker-rooms-open-to-boys/ Rom 1:22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools Edited by Blessedx4, May 13, 2013, 8:43 am.
