Israel bombed a suspected shipment of antiaircraft missiles in Syria on Wednesday, according to regional and U.S. officials, in its most ambitious strike inside its neighbor's territory in nearly two chaotic years of civil war there.

The early-morning strike in a border area west of Damascus targeted a convoy of trucks carrying Russian-made SA-17 missiles to Hezbollah, the anti-Israel Shiite militant and political group in Lebanon, according to a Western official briefed on the raid.

UN, Europe reprimand Israel for deadly use of live fire
After eight Palestinian civilians were killed by crowd control weapons, organizations urge Israel to exercise 'maximum restraint'

The United Nations and the European Union rebuked the Israeli army Wednesday for the use of live fire to disperse demonstrations in the West Bank, and called for investigations into the increasing number of civilian casualties caused by crowd control weapons.

The two organizations issued separate statements two days after the publication of a report that chastised Israel for the "unlawful use" of crowd dispersal weapons and for failing to properly investigate casualties resulting from abuse.

And now Russia says they are having military exercise off the coast of Syria. I would not trust them at all.

Little Israel does something to protect themselves and everyone rises up in arms. :israel

Absolutely Duckdogger we have an awesomely powerfull God who is looking after his nation Israel. The world will see very soon that the God of the Jews is very real and very powerful.

There have been two reports that Isreal either hit a shipment on it's way to Lebabnon or some science lab on the outskirts of Damascus. Maybe they did both? The reports are coming through Arab news so who knows what the truth is here.

All I can say I believe is Israel did strike Syria in some way to protect itself. May God continue to have His hand on Israel and may the Lord have mercy on their enemies, amen.

I personally believe in a pre-trib rapture so my hope is we will be in the arms of Jesus soon. If I am wrong then I will continue to trust in God. However we know prophetically there will be some big prophecy fulfilled soon!

God has it covered and I rest in Him.
