An Egyptian magazine claims that six American Islamist activists who work with the Obama administration are Muslim Brotherhood operatives who enjoy strong influence over U.S. policy.

The Dec. 22 story published in Egypt's Rose El-Youssef magazine (read an IPT translation here) suggests the six turned the White House "from a position hostile to Islamic groups and organizations in the world to the largest and most important supporter of the Muslim Brotherhood.

I guess it's too much to ask anymore that people appointed for (governing offices) in American government being influenced by American founding fathers, leaders or great minds. Sorry but this is worrisome to me. I don't want our government influenced by Islam

I am skeptical that their backgrounds would not have been surfaced in the vetting process. Or maybe there is none? Or maybe this is what the President wants as we try to become buds with the Islamic ME countries. Good luck with that.

We don't really have a vetting process anymore. Just like we don't have transparency. Obama managed to make czars out of some of the most questionable people imaginable and we paid them a pretty decent income. They were never vetted. (Van Jones comes readily to mind)

There is no way this would not have shown up in their background checks. Also the originalo article says "While there is no evidence presented for these claims..." I will try and find the link.

But then it's perspective and if you sympathize with a position, you may not see it as malevolent. Example, the first term had a person who thought Chairman Mao of the PRC was a great and inspiring person. Then there was Van Jones, etc.
