The board hand-picked by Mayor Michael Bloomberg that must approve his ban of selling large sugar-filled drinks at restaurants might be looking at other targets

Another board member thinks milk drinks should fall under the size limits

It's like they said "Ok we got away with it on colas now lets see what else we can get away with"

New Yorkers voted Bloomberg and therefore his administration in - more than once. If that's what they want - that's their business.

I'm just glad I don't live there. I like making these choices myself without being forced, punished or treated like an unruly child who doesn't know what's best for them...... so "nanny Bloomberg" must step in and "guide them down the right path".

Mr Bloomberg needs to address way more serious issues in New York state
than who is eating what and how much. I mean, really!

I think it's more of a control kick. I've noticed that when those in government start taking away freedoms they always use the excuse that it's because it'll be good for us.

It'll be good for us to have the video cameras everywhere because it'll make the streets safer.

It'll be good for us if they pass Obamacare and force everyone to buy health insurance.

It'll be good for us if children aren't allowed to pray in school.

It'll be good for us if restaurants can only serve small sized soft drinks.

Popcorn is healthy. It's just the butter (or fake butter) and salt that gives it a bad name. :shrug
