Good morning, Scott, Mel, Jeanette, and Carmen . . .

After being cold all day yesterday, warm air rolled in here last night & socked us in with fog. I had to let FaithyJ out to potty just before 2:30 and you couldn't see across the backyard. It was mild ... the dogs enjoyed the weather out there. This morning it's warm & humid, in the 60s. Feels like night & day temps swapped places. :confused

If you're in the way of any of this bad weather today, be careful! That was a wicked weather map that GMA showed - big swath from south to north, just east of Oklahoma and stretching diagonally across the country. :ohno

Sleepy this morning .... I'm going to set my cell phone alarm for 9 o'clock tonight and promise myself I'll stop whatever I'm doing and go to bed when it alarms!

later: I was just out back watching the dogs run around the yard .They're having a high old time - chased a squirrel up the pine tree, played tug-o-war with a stick. They came back in the house with me - I told them they could stay out, but they're spoiled. Funny thing is, the sun is shining brilliantly, the wind has come up & is roaring, and the temperature has dropped 10 degrees. It's down to 57 - was 67 at 6:30 this morning. . . . Well, I need to head to the office. Hope y'all have a great day!

Afternoon all. It is still snowing, 3 to 5 inches and windy. Schools were canceled today. It is going to be a lot colder all week, normal high about 52. Chance for another big storm this weekend. :snow

Saw that big area for possible bad weather, hope all remain safe.

Jeanette what did you and the grands do for fun on Easter??? I always love reading and getting chuckles from what you do with them.

Have a good afternoon and evening.

:lol ‘passed on hosting & the Easter stuff of egg dying & hiding.
Couple of the younger grands had talked about coming over and finding the eggs I hide,, before, but I let them know that I wasn’t planning on that.

(I was hoping to go to mtns to “hike”)

Thankfully DD#3 was up to hosting a get together! 3 out of 5 kiddos got there & 6 grands, DS’s girlfriend, DD#3’s DH & FIL, as well as my DH & I. They have space & ping pong & fooseball & nerf toys that were instrumental in a battle outside!

The two moms had kind of prepared for a mini egg hunt, however all kids were busy playing! Plus video games...

DD #3 had slow cooker roast beast & carrots, etc. DD#2 had slow cooked green beans & ham bacon, plus two Edward pies key lime & coconut & festive cupcakes .

I had found a new recipe for horseradish & bacon deviled eggs that was yummy, plus we took mashed potatoes & Hawaiian rolls.

After two kiddos left , DD# 3, her two younger kiddos, my DH & I went to a green way park and walked & played in a creek. Thankful there r restrooms!

DH took a half a day last Thursday, and we drove to the mtns to meet up with a couple we hadn’t seen since before our move, they were there visiting relatives. We went out to dinner and then back to our hotel to talk for a couple more hours. They minister in St. Louis Missouri.

Pray for his health and their ministry, also.

It was a great time of fellowship!

Last Friday we drove to visit a couple of waterfalls, not hiking just short walks & climbing on dirt, ropes, rocks. One had stairs, but we still managed to do climbing on boulders. Another one was a short walk & steps, where folks would slide down.

We ate lunch at a fabulous little restaurant place. At first we were the only ones there at noon, but then folks started to show up ...

Saturday morning was R&R, then we headed to DD#1’s for a cookout & celebrate GS turning 21!

Yesterday was a no driving, no gym, & No phone day, as I wanted to catch up on household paperwork & pay a couple of bills.

DH came home & mowed, while I cooked a white chili (lean ground turkey & northern beans, seasonings, etc) followed by a slice of leftover key lime pie

Today, I broke a tooth, dentist, gym briefly, errands, home. Wiped so not too much else, cooked fajitas & hope to work on will stuff before ncis

I do pace myself, as I have to, othwise I hit a brick wall in every way, physically, emotionally, & spirit

I will “nurse” the busted tooth til my dentist is back from vacation, the one I saw today was good, also, as he filed the rough edges down so no shredding of tongue

:hysterical

Jeanette it sounds like you had a busy and fun Easter weekend. Loved the idea of horseradish and bacon in devil eggs, did you do it to taste??? My sister loves making deviled eggs but she makes them so tart tasting they will pucker you up.

You hike in the mountains a lot, bet the views are something else to see.

It is still snowing out, finer snow now, up to 4 inches now. Neighbor is using his snow blower to clear the walks. He is so nice, usually does most of the walk per my brother.

Watching Hildago, have not seen it in a long time.

Oo, you make my mouth water at the thought. I'd try your sister's deviled eggs to see if I could eat them. If they were 'too' tart, I might not be able to. :heh What does she put into them? I think the horseradish sounds good, Jeanette, if not 'too' much. I like horseradish pretty well.

Your Easter sounds like a fun time, Jeanette. Hope that broken tooth isn't bothering you too much. I need to make an appointment with the dentist, just for a general cleaning ... it's been awhile. :ohno

It's supposed to be in the 70s tomorrow ... I'm not sure I trust the forecast after the past few days of topsy turvy weather. :shrug

What are you up to this week, Scott? Haven't seen you much.

Well ... :bed ... 'Nite, all!

:coffee ‘Morning

The bacon-horseradish deviled egg recipe is one I found on line at Cooking Light” I used mayo with olive oil instead of the one they stated, as that is what I have here. Plus I didn’t add as much chives. (‘Used dehydrated ones)

The pretreatment round of antibiotics before seeing a dentist is challenging, effects last long afterwards. “Nursing” the broken tooth til either the regular dentist is back next week or it starts to hurt, soft foods & chew on the other side. (Except the other side doesn’t have teeth! A partial that isn’t in as it wraps around onto the broken tooth. Nothing there for it to latch onto right now.)

:wave Happy Hump Day. Nah, I'm not gonna slip in a picture of a camel - I promise. :heh

Sweetie is getting an injection in his neck today - it't the next step on stopping pain that resulted from that car wreck almost 3 years ago - so we're heading to Okla City shortly. We're both really, really hoping this helps, a lot!

I'm so tired of a lot of the political 'stuff' that's all over social media, the mainstream media, and even our local channel & local newspaper. :tsk It's hard not to jump all over some people's ideas that drastically clash with mine. :B:

My dad's youngest brother, who is 85 and lives in Florida, called me last night and we talked for quite awhile. It was a great visit. :thumb

Well ... gotta feed these dogs and head north.

Y'all have a great day!
