The temperature here is still in the mid 50s this evening, but tonight's forecast is still calling for freezing temperatures and snow overnight with temperatures back up into the 50s again by tomorrow afternoon. :crazy

This picture is adorable!

That's also a neat photo of Sharon's mom holding the baby. :):

We didn't do much for Easter. I made a pot of soup for dinner because it was so cold. It was delicious, and filling.

Freezing drizzle is in the forecast for overnight, and it's brutal outside, it's so cold. I'm heading to bed ... tomorrow is a Monday, after all.

We did not make a traditional Easter meal either. We had pizza which I like better anyway.

It is 34 degrees and snowing this morning, but today's forecast is still calling for temps in the 50s by this afternoon.

Such an adorable pic of Sharon's Mom holding the little one.

Lots of good yummy food for diner yesterday. Sure filled us up.

In the 20's today, winter storm watch for tomorrow. Brother said we could be in the 70's by mid month.

Jesus Christ Superstar was awesome. Alice Cooper's role of King Herod fit him so well.

Have a good Monday all.

I watched most of Jesus Christ Superstar & It was pretty good. I like the 1973 movie version best. Alice Cooper was a real showman as Herod. There was some great voice talent throughout.

We woke up under a freeze warning, & there was a fine, freezing mist that fell from about 7 a.m. till after 10 a.m. The same is in the forecast for Wednesday morning, & then it looks like we may have a huuuge freeze Friday night/Saturday morning. :B:

Spring is playing with us all.

I had a nice lunch with my parents after church today.

I spoke with Sharon's Mom on the phone this afternoon to wish her a happy Easter. She is doing well. She absolutely adores her newest great granddaughter (my great niece who was born in February).

It hasn't been too warm here today - by 1 o'clock, it was finally up to 44 degrees, with a windchill of 38. Now, it's finally up to 52 degrees, but it feels like 44.

I'm working in the garage, sorting my mother's clothes & papers into 'sell', 'donate', and 'toss' categories. I'm washing some items that I'm planning to keep - a blanket, a sweater, etc. Not many things, but a few. It's cold & damp out there - I've got the door up, but I am 'sort of' protected from the wind, at least. I found a great photo of my mother among her greeting cards. It was taken on Valentine's Day this year. She really still looked pretty healthy! I'll frame that and keep it. :thumb

Well, came in to see if the coffee was done making. Getting a hot cup of fresh coffee and heading back to the garage. I really want to get this done - no putting it off. :):

It did get up to around 50 degrees and rainy this afternoon, so the roughly 3 inches of snow that fell last night and this morning is already mostly melted and gone.

Hope you don't have any of that bad wind & rain with flooding moving into your area over the next couple of days, Mel. This weather has been just crazy.

How much snow did you get, Scott?

It's pretty cold & damp tonight, but the wind isn't roaring like last night so we put the trash cart out to the curb. It's dangerous to do that when the wind is roaring out of the north because it has sometimes rolled the cart down the street where it has crashed into a mailbox, into someone's garage door, and once went so far it disappeared never to be seen again as far as we know. The city had to bring us a new cart - they're serial numbered to your house number. :pound

See y'all tomorrow ~

Between 8:30 AM and noon we got about 1-1/2 inches of snow. It was all gone by 4 PM. High temps are still not predicted to get much above 40 for the next week or so. Meh! New England.
