What a lousy night. Leg cramps, sometimes severe, off and on all night long.

One more word about the Boston marathon. Over 1000 runners required medical attention, 95 of whom were in the elite category, for hypothermia. Those lean, mean running machines simply did not have enough body fat to keep them warm. Go chubbies!

:hug Oh, Scott, that sounds so rough. :sigh

You made me laugh with your comments on the Boston marathon runners. :hysterical Yeh, I wondered how that went ... haven't seen any news on it here.

Ok, gotta head off to the office.

:hysterical I see the name of that dog breed is still being :censored . :ohno There oughta be a finer filter that could be applied to words and their usage.

This is a crazy time of year, and especially this year. This weather is bizarre. It was in the mid-50s at 8 a.m. today, and is predicted to reach nearly 100 by 4 p.m. But then a cold front arrives. :eyeroll

Ok, lawn mowing people have to be trained to do what you want, when you want, how you want. That's my conclusion. :ohno

New mower for this season promptly showed up this morning - hours early. He wasn't expected till late afternoon. He had not given me his phone #, we've been messaging on fb, and we've known each other for about a decade. How did I find out he was at the house? He left me a voicemail (no phone #), and then messaged me on fb.

He'd woke up my dogs. They'd poured out of the back of the house and, since he had the gate open, they were off & running around! My reaction? :faint ... and then :rollpin . He sent another message - he 'thought' at least one of the dogs had run back into the house.

When I got there, I was so relieved to hear them all barking at the front door. Ge'dogg - our awesome pack leader - had rounded up his pack and taken them back into the house. :happytears

The lawn guy, my buddy, felt so bad. He asked how they'd gotten out? "Doggy doors." You should have seen his face fall!

Well, happy ending - they're all accounted for and okay. I accepted his apology, and didn't fire him. :wink

So what kind of spaniels Jeanette?? :lol

Barb glad your doggies were all accounted for.

Tomorrow is going to be a long work day. First I need to see my patients at Pearl Valley and then run over to Wellman and work another 6 and half hours. :faint My poor old body is not use to that much work.

Northern Iowa could see up to 10 inches tonight into tomorrow. :giggle Seriously, I do not remember an April like this before. This weather is just totally crazy.

Brrrr! That's too cold for this time of year, Mel. :B:

It's upper 50s here this morning, but windy so it's cool. We have 2 fence boards that are flapping in the north breeze. We're about to go out & put a couple of screws in them.

Lower 30's and snow flurries today. Winter Storm warning to the north with lots of snow. :Becky

Next week it will begin to look a lot more like spring.

Work today was fun today, older people are just so much fun.
