Random stuff from our house.

I live with 2 college educated people neither of which answered this question correctly.

The big brother is 4 years old. The little brother is half of his age. When the big brother is 100 how old will the little brother be?
(Don't any of you answer 50!)

Just the other day I observed that "my" new car is already a year old and I still haven't put any gas in it. DS replied, "Yeah, about that. When are you going to contribute to that?" Me, "Maybe when I get to drive it!"

DW, "I need gas. Is it too cold to put some in?" :freaked Cut her some slack she's from a tropical country.

Happy New Year, y'all!

:hysterical Their minds must have been elsewhere.

Hope you got to work okay this morning, Carmen. :hug

At 8 this morning, it was 8 degrees with a windchill of -6. The sun is shining brightly but it's just too far away to have much effect. Still, it's up to 11 degrees with a windchill of 1. The dogs have run in and out a couple of times. They're loving it, but only in short bursts. :lol

Happy New Year to All of You, My PF Friends!!

Happy New Year all!!!!

It was so cold out this morning, it was -16 when I went to work. The temp gage on my car went from -16 to -25 and was -18 when I got to the NH. It had warmed up to -8 when I left work.. :hot
We could have another record low tonight and hit 32 by Sunday........bring it on.

Scott that is hilarious with the math question........so what is the answer if it is not 50???

My sis is in depression, Hallmark stopped showing Christmas Movies. So she came up with this great idea that we watch all the Christmas Movies we have not seen. :pound

Stay warm all and may 2018 be better than 2017 for us all.

:pound Oh, your poor sister, Carmen. I hope she gets her fill of Christmas movies before Valentine's Day. :heh

Record low tomorrow morning is 7 degrees. We're predicted to be down to 9 degrees, but if it's colder, we could set a new temperature. :B:

I don't know how y'all stand that cold, Carmen, I really don't. Don't know that I could put up with it.

We've got the Rose Bowl on 2 TVs so we can see the game, whatever part of the house we're in. I'm cooking a skillet chili, and I'm going to make some cranberry-brie bites to finish off the cran-blueberry sauce from Christmas. :thumb

How about that - it's Tuesday, but feels like a Monday. :ohno 14 degrees this morning, a big surprise it isn't half that. Windchill is 4, so it's plenty cold out.

Back to work ... back to a routine ... Yay!

:lol Scott I just went back and reread the math problem....... :didisaythat I thought is said the older brother was 4 years older....... :doh

Another record low this morning of -20. But it got up to 11 this afternoon and we head back to the deep freeze tonight. :yuck Barb all of us here in Iowa are made tough to stand this Iowa winters. :drama Actually I can remember winters much worse than this up in northern Iowa with snow up and beyond and wind chills at 50 to 60 below.

Has anyone purchased powerball or mega millions tickets. I got one of each.

The NH is finally warmer. Heard some gossip of residence romances going on. Sweet.

Asking for prayers for a worker at the NH, his name is Marty and was in a car accident while on the way to work this morning. All we know is he has a broken shoulder and arm. Hiedi, his wife also works there. They are both wonderful people.

Praying for your coworker, Marty, to make a full recovery from the accident. Praying for his wife and her peace in the process.

That's not my kind of weather, Carmen. I'd have to move, if I found myself in such a cold setting. :lol I'm not that hardy. We didn't have weather that cold and brutal when I was growing up in NE Ohio and going to school in WV. That's why I asked how y'all can stand it - it's hard to imagine, for me. But since you live there, I'm glad you can handle it! :thumb

Hi, Jeanette, Mel, Scott, and Cathy!

We're supposed to be above freezing, finally, tomorrow afternoon and warm up the rest of the week.

Have y'all seen the new Domino's commercial for their "carryout insurance". I laugh every time I see it.

It's nice to have the chick mystery movies back on Hallmark M&M channel. I'm watching Just Desserts, starring Allison Sweeney. Haven't figured out the "who done it" part yet, but I am getting some more bills filed & off of my desk, so that's a good thing.

:wave . . . See y'all tomorrow. :grouphug2
