Ever get to that point in the day where you're tired of messing with people - people who don't listen, aren't easy to work with, are demanding of your time (like a 2 yr old is), don't follow directions - so you just wanna pack up your work & sneak down the back stairs & go home? Well, then you know how I feel this afternoon.

Hope you got some sleep finally last night, Jeanette. :hug

It's still pitch dark out, with a windchill in the 20s. I let the dogs out about a quarter till 6. They didn't stay out long - came flying through the doggy door and trotted back to their beds. :lol I closed the doggy door and don't expect to open it again till after daylight.

Good morning! :wave

29 degrees here this morning with a wind chill of 19. We also had a light snow overnight, just enough to make a mess.

Another blizzard! That's 3 nor'easters within 10 days. Unlike years past this time most of previous snows melted already. Can you believe it? They're predicting more snow for next week. I'm beyond sick of winter.

The El-Al flight from Tel Aviv to Boston, supposed to arrive today, was cancelled. The next one is in 2 days. This is the one Maria is supposed to be on. It's going to be packed! I hope they aren't bumped.

Can someone explain this to me?

Today, most of the students at our local high school are participating in the "walk out of class to protest school shootings" thing. They will be gathering on the lawn in front of the school.

How does placing most of the student body outdoors in an open space where they would be easy targets, and advertising it in advance in such a way as to almost be a challenge to all the nuts out there, promote gun safety?

Granted, the chance of any violence happening here is remote, but why run the risk in this crazy day and age?

It is 28 degrees with a wind chill in the teens and lightly snowing here this afternoon.

This morning I took Mom to the Dr for a checkup. She is doing well overall, but lifting her in and out of the car is a little more than Dad can handle by himself.

After we got back from the Dr office, I had lunch with my parents. I'm home now trying to get caught up on the housework before I have to go back to work tomorrow.

May as always is being a furry goofball.
