Glad you got home okay last evening, Mel. :thumb

Oo, Scott, hope those eye injections do the trick for you.

Lots of broken water pipes around this town. Water is off at our office tho' someone is working on the problem. :shrug

Made it into the mid/upper 20's today.........felt a bit like summer. :lol At least compared to what it has been for the last few weeks.

Jeanette are you all getting snow???

Resident at the NH passed away yesterday, just within days of her husband's passing. She was very sweet.

The main roads are good today, but some of the side streets (including mine) have not been plowed yet.

Yesterday, after the eye injection, I told the nurse that I see a large black spot. She told me not to worry. It's just a small bubble of air in the medication and it would fade away. It did. I found it fascinating! One would think that an air bubble in the eye fluids would be invisible but this looked as black as coal tar. It also proved what we were taught in school science class. Light passing through the lens of your eye is projected upside down on your retina. This thing was floating at the top of the eye but was visible as if it was on the bottom.

Warming up here.

Ever notice how - when you're trying to speak more pleasantly, be less bothered by people, do something that's positive - the devil jumps right in the middle of everything and everyone and you end up grinding your teeth, annoyed by everyone around you, and losing your train of thought?!? (That's been my afternoon so far. :ohno )

Good morning! :wave

It is 35 degrees here this morning and supposed to get much warmer this afternoon and the next few days.

I didn't sleep well last night. I kept thinking about Sharon. I can hardly believe that today marks 4 years that she has been gone already.

I keep thinking too about how much she would have loved to be at our niece's wedding that is this weekend. The niece who is getting married was also Sharon's goddaughter and they were always very close.

:wave Hi all! Sorry to hear that y'all are still freezing. We've had a surprisingly pleasant winter so far. We had a couple of weeks of sub-freezing weather, and a couple of snowfalls. But other than that it's been in the mid forties every day, I'll take it! Last winter was hideous, tons of snow and ice. We lost two full weeks of classes due to weather. Haven't lost a single day yet this year, yay!

I've had a very busy week. I had my first two A&P tests. I'm anxious to get my grades back and see how I did. I fully expect an A for each of them (one for lecture and one for lab) but think I missed a couple on the lecture test. I feel a 100% coming for the lab test. Now, I am at Mark's house (the electricity is off at my house for a repair) and need to finish my Sociology paper for the week.

We have a busy weekend ahead. Tonight we've been invited to some friend's new house for dinner. Tomorrow evening is Mark's grandaughter's birthday party, Sunday evening Mark is preaching at a local nursing home. Busy-busy-busy, guess I'd better get to working on my paper so I can get that off of my plate! :bolt

:wave Hi, Mel, Jeanette, Scott, Carmen, and Cathy! Cold this morning, but warming up some ... we're up to 53 now. Should make it to the 60s for at least the next 2 days. Hope so!

You are a busy woman, Cathy! :thumb

:hug Big hugs for you, Mel. It's hard to believe it's been 4 years since Sharon passed on. Losing your spouse is such a big, huge loss. I hope your niece's wedding is a really enjoyable time this weekend.

How's your eye, Scott?
