How do you make my DW laugh tomorrow? Tell her a joke today! Bwahaha! :bolt
On second thought, don't. She'll just be angry when you still have to explain it.

Poor Scott. :lostwings

It was cold & windy all day, but very sunny - beautiful afternoon because of the sun! :thumb

Got a lot done today, and now I'm about to head for bed. I'm sleepy & have to be up early in the morning.

Y'all sleep tight tonight! :D:

After getting up to 70 degrees yesterday, we are back down to below freezing temperatures this morning.

Some Arab guy subscribed to my Youtube channel. I have no idea why since there are only 3 videos there and I haven't put anything there for years. Go figure! There is one funny one if y'all care to look in. The channel name is "pudgyv".

I bought a new to me suit off eBay for only $20.00! What a deal. Fat guy clothes cost a fortune new. It fits perfectly, no alterations of any kind necessary. Since Maria was fixing to serve dinner, and the box was on the table, I moved it to the floor in the living room for the time being. The cat appreciated "his" new bed very much. Spent about half an hour getting his grey hairs off the black suit.

Passing by the coat rack a few minutes ago I see the cat parked on top of one of Maria's coats which had, evidently, fallen down on its own. He's an equal opportunity clothing wrecker, eh.

My obnoxious sister in law called up not long ago. I saw it was her on the caller ID and did not pick up. I can't deal with her on any level. When she finished her message she didn't hang up right away and the machine kept on recording. Oh boy, did I get an ear full! It was her boyfriend giving her the third degree over who she was calling. A controlling SOB! I don't like her but she doesn't deserve that.

Being a "clothing wrecker" seems to be a universally popular cat hobby. Or should that be lifestyle?

Well, pet hair is why we keep a few of those roller brushes with the sticky stuff that you can peel off and throw away in each vehicle, at the office, and around the house. :wink

I was planning to cook a pot of potato soup for dinner but did not ever get myself any further out of the house than to walk out on the back patio twice. :greeneyeroll

We had red beans & rice with some sliced beef sausage with seeded rye buttered bread to go with it. It was warm, spiced a bit, and delicious. Quick and easy. :heh

Oh yes, we have some of those. Required equipment for cat owners. We're just happy we discovered what he was up to before he tenderized the garments to his liking.

No kidding! We were pretty lucky - our cats liked to claw the carpet under the end tables, but other than that, they were happy indoor/outdoor cats in the country so they had all the clawing opportunities and running/jumping they cared to do. That we couldn't keep a cat indoors is why we haven't had any more cats since we moved into town.

Dogs can tear up furniture and carpet and clothing too, but their style is different than a cat's. :heh Thankfully these guys are not very destructive.

It's 43 now; supposed to reach all the way to the mid-50s this afternoon. :high5 I'm happy about that because it's gonna be cold again tomorrow & we may have a light snow tomorrow afternoon.

:hysterical I :heart this poster.

We had a black & white cat, years ago when we lived out in the mountains. One summer, there was a little skunk that ran around the neighborhood with out cat, Chelsey, all summer. I called Chelsey to come in at bedtime more than once and I had to be careful the little skunk didn't follow her right in through the back door. :heh

Ah, good times. That was a great cat - good mouser.

Later: We've been having dishwasher problems ... it's been filling up, not draining right, and spilling water onto the kitchen floor. We've bailed and bailed and taken it apart twice to clean it. It's all back together and 'maybe' it'll work right again. I'm running a load of dishes right now to check it out. It's about halfway through the cycle.

We've also had a problem with the washer draining. We weren't sure if there was a connection between the dishwasher & the washer drains or not. So I'm washing a load of clothes right now too. We caught the washer drain overflowing but couldn't tell 'why'. Not done with that issue yet. :eyeroll

That 70 degree day you had was wild, Mel. We've had nothing like that since back before Christmas. We didn't warm up as much as predicted today - stayed pretty chilly. Hope your weather is treating you well, Jeanette. How's everything with you, Carmen?

We may have a "wintery mix" starting tomorrow afternoon or evening. I ran to the store - finally - for potatoes, celery, green onions & milk so I can put potato soup in the crock pot for tomorrow night's dinner. Finally. :ohno
