What you really need is a cat like May to keep all those dogs in line. :heh Edited by M. Hawbaker, January 6, 2018, 9:02 pm.

Thanks, Jeanette! I think he's the cutest one in the litter! The rest look a lot more like pitbull mixes. These dogs are supposed to have one parent that's a pit/boxer mix, and one parent that's a border collie and something mix.:hysterical Oh, those dogs wouldn't know what to do! I'll bet May would have them each walking the straight and narrow in no time! Edited by barb43, January 6, 2018, 11:23 pm.

Good morning!
:wave 2 degrees with a wind chill of -5 here this morning. Today's high is supposed to be about 24. And then the next few days are to warm up considerably for the rest of the week. |

Hi, Scott, Jeanette, Mel, Carmen, and Cathy!
:wave Well, I think having puppy fever is similar to having baby fever. :heh I came to my senses about 3:30 this morning. I got up and when I went back to bed, little Leela was laying on my pillow. She weighs 44 lbs but she's about as mobile when she's asleep as a hard sack of concrete. I rolled her and must have pinched her neck because she slightly yelped. I felt terrible! When I got settled under the covers, I laid on my right side for a little bit and snuggled her. She :heart it! I had to snicker; told myself we really don't need a new puppy - the original Mini-Hou was cuddled up in the crook of my arm. She acts so much like Houston, follows him everywhere and they play hard together. Houston will be 7 the last week of this month & Leela will be 4 on the 1st of February. It's kind of funny - Edward and I have both really babied Leela this morning. Hope y'all warm up this week! It's 56 here right now ... and drizzly. I've got to take my mother some clean laundry and run to the grocery store for a few items. Y'all have a great afternoon! :wave |

It's so cold here... "How cold is it?" It's so cold here that parts of Cape Cod Bay have frozen over for only the third time in 80 years. |

Oh, my goodness, Scott - that's wild! Everybody doing okay - electric on in Boston, natural gas and water flowing okay to take care of customers? How about in your locale, Mel? |

Except for those who experienced basement flooding we're pretty much back to normal. No major losses of electricity or natural gas. Schools are open. The cold is supposed to break today or tomorrow. edit to add: We have sea ice and no Polar Bears (yay!) while in Alaska they have starving Polar Bears with no sea ice. Craziest weather I've ever seen personally. Edited by Blackjack, January 8, 2018, 8:16 am.

Good morning!
:wave It is 33 degrees here this morning with an expected high in the mid 40s this afternoon. This is the first day we have had with temperatures above freezing for 15 days! The rest of the week is likely to get up into the 50s. :getdown Edit to add: I'm happy to say that we never did get the freezing rain mix that was forecast for yesterday. Edited by M. Hawbaker, January 9, 2018, 9:27 am.

Good morning! 33 degrees here this morning too. Supposed to get into the low 60s today; high 60s tomorrow & there's a chance of light snow on Thursday. :pound So typical of Oklahoma. Beautiful hot pink sunrise this morning. I stayed up too late last night, watching the game. Happy to see the Tide win. :): |
