Something make you think we quit? :hysterical

You posted Huntington and I got that one - and he was tough. So then I posted that gal with the horse ... I think Mel was working on it, but he hasn't commented further. :shrug

I couple of good baseball guys to post, next couple of times I win ... they have funny or good stories. :wink

Think hard on a woman's name that starts & ends with A, then look for a hotel name (high class, generally expensive chain) that starts with an H__ A __ __, has an A in it, & ends with a couple consonants. You get her first & middle name, the rest will pop up on google, surely. Especially since she's a sculptor, one of the first women to go professional & show/sell her works.

Yes! I found her when I was reading up on Scott's guy and his family. Those Huntington's are not the most info-available group of people I've seen.

A former lawman turned outlaw. He is believed to have committed many murders for hire, but was likely innocent of the one for which he was hanged.

Continuing the wild west theme. This gent was a US Army scout, professional gambler and gun slinger. He ended up as a sports writer in New York City.

I think he looks like a mashup of Harry Truman and FDR, but this is really Bat Masterson, isn't it?

Wow. That didn't take long. I couldn't fool you with his old guy picture. Yes, Bat Masterson.

Whether you think of this man as a history maker or merely part of a publicity stunt, his purpose was to bolster sagging attendance at baseball games. Much like today, the stadiums were hard to fill in the season he made an appearance.
