Wish Martha Stewart was My Sister!

Helen Hayes wasn't even in Arsenic and Old Lace. :ohno The Brewster sisters were Jean Adair and Josephine Hull. The other person I can't get out of my head is Mrs. Walton, Ellen Corby. I'll look more later . . . I'm thinking I need to go back to some info on silent movies and I'll prolly find her. :wink |

Lillian Gish. Didn't find this photo, but I found some photos of Lillian Gish as she was aging, so I think this is her. |

I thought this was going to be a hard one but I started to Google and one of the first things to come up was entitled "Meet the cinematographer who changed films forever" and there he was! James Wong Howe Fascinating story. |

The guy on the left played the guy on the right (known locally, affectionately, as "Mumbles") in a fairly recent movie based on historical events. Name either...or both if you want to. Posted Image Edited by Blackjack, May 28, 2018, 8:02 am.

Yes. "Mumbles" Menino in action. :lol All in good fun. Everybody liked and respected him as Boston's longest serving mayor. Edited by Blackjack, May 29, 2018, 1:46 pm.

I had no idea who either man is/was, but all I had to do was google "Who was known as 'Mumbles' in Boston?" and stories on both of them popped right up. :lol I'll find someone tomorrow ... I'm on floor all morning at the office, so should have time to look. |

I've just discovered this man, and I'm trying to trust him to help me plan for my retirement, which I really hope to enjoy one of these days. He's a prolific American author who helps people assess their starting financial condition and build plans to get to where they want to go. It's all about the money, how much you might want or need. His series of books will help you out if you're a woman, or a couple; young, or nearing retirement ... whatever your stage in life.

Yes, David Bach. Have you read any of his books? I came back over here to add a clue: "Even tho' he's written many books, he is not the author of Jonathan Livingston Seagull." But that wasn't necessary. I'm currently working my way through, Start Late, Finish Rich and it's excellent. |
