I thought right away that this is Lurch, from the original Addams Family and I think it is, but I had to look up his name. Ted Cassidy - ? |

This next man was a lawyer, and he became a judge. He admitted that at one point in his life, he doubted the divinity of Scriptures. To set his mind straight, he took the time to try the Bible as he would try any court case. Can you imagine how long and intense that must have been?! He made a decision that the Bible is a supernatural Book that has come from God. He concluded that the only safe thing for humans to do was to follow its teachings. Posted Image |

The description sounds like Simon Greenleaf but it can't be him as photography wasn't invented during his life time. Greenleaf is famous for applying the rules of evidence to the Gospel accounts and, based on that, concluded that they are a faithful witness to the truth. Now, to work on your guy. |

He must be a former governor. :pound There have been some mighty bad politicians from Ohio. I'll look for him in a bit. |

Ah, this is President Warren G. Harding, isn't it? Not a governor, but a President. :wink |

Yes, that's him, the president whose name I always forget. So when I thought of him today he had to be my next guy! |

This is a crooked politician who served in Congress. He was from Ohio, and fully understood his community - many of whom considered him a hero. He was convicted of racketeering, among other charges, and served 7 years in prison. How do you like his hair? Posted Image |

James Traficant. Pretty easy. All I had to Google was "Ohio politician, goofy hair." |

:rofl Had no idea he'd be so easily found. It was just that hair cracked me up so much. 1st thing I thought was, "That's gotta be the worst comb-over in history!" And then I read enough about the man to discover it was a toupee. The question many asked: "Why would anyone put a rug on their head that looked like that?!?" Yes, that is James Traficant. He fancied himself to be quite a sleuth, insisting that he was on the inside of the Ohio mob solely as a spy. I think he probably deserved far worse than 7 years in prison. The people of Youngstown and Mahoning County thought he was great. |
