Wish Martha Stewart was My Sister!

Many female writers have written under male pseudonyms to avoid harassment & criticism, and to encourage greater readership. These 2 gals met at a writers' retreat and formed an alliance to write thrillers as a flashy guy with a flashy lifestyle who describes himself as a "flaneur" and as a "pisco sour connoisseur", among other things. I can hardly wait to read one of their books! :hysterical Posted Image |

He was tough - I'm not sure I know anything about him. I'll post someone in a bit. Edited by barb43, April 2, 2018, 6:58 pm.

This lady was a pioneer at producing one of the first cookbooks known in the 1700s. It was widely successful, tho' not published under her name. It was thought to have been produced by a man until the early 1900s. Yes, Google honored her a few days back - you may have seen this. Posted Image |

She was not a good money manager & eventually went bankrupt, despite book sales, even spent time in a debtor's prison. |
