Rod Stewart, correct! That picture was taken in the home of Mr. George Sellios in Peabody, Massachusetts. The way I hear it nobody could tell who was more thrilled, George to have Rod in his home or Rod seeing George's trains!

Correct. :nod

I usually listen to her radio program during the drive to church on Sunday morning. The last few weeks she has been doing a series on the Book of Revelation.

Wish Martha Stewart was My Sister!
This lovely woman was born into a well-to-do family in New York, & 1st married into a family of Boston socialites. 1st husband was a WWI vet, and returned home with issues that led to a lot of drinking.

She divorced him & married into another well-off family. She and that husband had an open marriage, with lots of affairs, lots of wild parties, and a suicide pact.

In the midst of all the craziness, she hastily invented, and then received a patent for, something women still use today. Not realizing the importance of her invention she brushed it off and moved onto other pursuits, selling the patent before she fully realized it's value.

Although this woman's life story is scandalous, she did a couple of important (I suppose) things - the development she provided in the history of the item she patented is key to identifying her.

Something else she accomplished was to form a publishing press with her 2nd husband after they joined a group of American expatriates in Paris ... and they aided some prominent authors in their careers. This was back in the 1920s, 1930s.

Mel beat me with his guess. If you Google Mel's guess you can find that picture. However, Google Margaret Knight and see what happens. :pound edit to add: Margaret's bio does not fit the hints.

:confused
