Probably too easy but I can't help myself. This gent appeared in some of the most popular movies of the 40s-50s. I certainly enjoyed them. Besides, I love the hat, have one exactly like it! :lol

On my cell phone last evening, I thought this guy resembled a young Frank Sinatra, but looking at him now, I know he's not. However, I don't know who he is. I'll take shot in the dark tho' and guess Glenn Ford?

Not Glenn Ford but Glenn Ford wore good hats too. :lol

Yes, he did! And he played a lot of good roles - everything from a ladies' man to a mobster to a cowboy to a modern-day sheriff in late 60s or early 70s (loved the show, can't think of the name of it).

Will search for our mystery man later using your clue and google. :wink

Heh, this is bizarre! No clue how I got into your post, Scott! but somehow did & added my comment to yours. :pound Cathy would probably know. :shrug

Our guy was lynched as a cattle rustler, was an honest DA and a broke former air corp hero.

Take her in your arms, and kiss her. Ask her to marry you. Then marry her.

I haven't been seeing as many old movies as previously, for some reason. :shrug

Our next lady is an historical figure. She became the wife of a tribal chief barely out of her teens. After her husband, who was referred to as a king, was killed in a battle with the Romans, the local Roman governor attempted to seize his estate. She complained & was flogged.

You know what has no fury like a woman mistreated, right? She was known to have hip-length blonde hair, and she clothed herself as a male warrior chieftain would, wearing a gold torque that was twisted strands of gold that fit closely around the neck. Gold knobs were often on the front of the torque, at the neck area, to symbolize a warrior was prepared to die for his people.

Depending on whose account you read, she rallied 70,000 to 100,000 forces and defeated the Romans in two areas, one of which is now modern day London. She rode around the battlefield, encouraging the fighting forces, which was unknown for a woman to do. She and her troops were brutal, engaging in beheadings and other human carcass mutilation to get their point across.

If you haven't figured her out by this point, the rabbit itself is a clue to her style.

This next man is a country music / comedy performer who was popular in the 40s to the 70s.

I actually met him once as a young boy when his tour bus stopped at my parents house to ask directions to a local music festival.

Is this Crazy Elmer, from the Jamboree show? I can't remember the whole name of it, and haven't found it ... but seems to me that's what it was -- not really a Grand Ol' Oprey show, but something close.
