Mission Statement

The Prophecy Fellowship Message Board is an online community dedicated to the glorification of Christ Jesus and to the edification of Christians through study and discussion of prophecy and life from a scriptural perspective.

Statement of Beliefs

1) We believe the Bible, composed of 66 books, to be the only inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God profitable for doctrine, reproof, correction, instruction in righteousness, and that it enables the person of God to be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. (2 Tim 3:16)

2) We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, who is the Creator of heaven, earth, and all things therein. (Matthew 28:19; Isa 48:12,16-17)

3) We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ; in His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His atoning death on the cross, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father; and in His personal return in power and glory. (Jhn 14:9; 1 Cor 15:1-4; Acts 1:11)

4) We believe that for salvation to occur, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential, and that repentance from sin and acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior is the only way to come into a relationship with God. (Tts 3:5; 2 Cor. 7:10; Jhn 8:24)

5) We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: The saved unto the resurrection of life and the lost unto the resurrection of damnation. (Dan 12:2; Rev 20)

6) We believe it is important to uphold the Scriptural practices of the early church. Therefore, we hold to the practice of water baptism and the taking of communion. We do not believe that either of these practices is essential for salvation, but that they serve as a demonstration of our living faith in Christ. (1 Pet 3:21; Eph 2:8)

7) We believe in the pretribulation rapture of the Church, and while not essential to our beliefs as a Christian, we encourage each other to live as though Christ can come any moment. (Tts 2:13)

8) We believe that life begins at conception and, because of the price God was willing to pay to redeem us, all life has intrinsic value. (Psa 139:13-14; Jhn 3:16)

9) We believe in the sanctity of marriage, consisting of one man and one woman. (Gen 2:24)

Core Values

Our Foundation: Christ Jesus, our Savior and Lord, is the foundation of our lives (1 Cor. 3:11). The Bible, which is the Word of God, serves as our final word on all matters of doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness. (2 Tim. 3:16)

Our Conduct: We strive to conduct ourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel, letting our speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, so that by our love for one another the world will know we follow Christ (Phil 1:27; Col. 4:6; Jhn. 13:35).

We believe in testing all things, holding fast to what is good, and correcting those who err in a spirit of gentleness, always remembering to avoid unnecessary arguments because there is one body, one Spirit, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in us all. (1 Thes. 5:21; Gal 6:1; Eph 4:1-6)

Every member is encouraged to examine their own work knowing that whatever a man sows, he will also reap, and that his works will be judged by God. (Gal 6:4,7; Cor. 3:12-15)

Our Blessed Hope: Our hope is based on the resurrection of Christ Jesus, which is the proof we are forgiven for our sins, and His promise to come again and receive us unto Himself so that where He is, we may be also. (1 Cor. 15:1-4; John 14:3)

Our Vision

Our goal is not to take the place of your local church but to encourage one another as we see the Day of Christ’s return approaching. (Heb. 10:24-25)

We want to provide a community in which believers grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ and uplift, strengthen, pray for, respect, and learn from one another, loving God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength, and others as ourselves. (2 Pet 3:18; Gal 6:2; Eph 3:19)

We want our non-believing friends to be treated with gentleness, respect, and kindness as they witness the truth and love of Christ, and come to a saving knowledge of Him. (1 Pet 3:15; John 3:16; Mat 11:28-29)

We depend on the Lord to provide for and guide us. We ask all Christians to pray for us as we seek His will.
